Achievements
Linencare were the winners of the prestigious 2007 Save Water Awards for Regional Business for the installation of its Water, Recycling, Plant and Heat Exchange Unit. Linencare has reduced its water consumption by 50 per cent (a reduction of 28 million litres of water per year), its Trade Waste discharge to sewer by 65%, its steam consumption by 25%, its electricity consumption by 12% and its gas consumption by 11%.
Linencare were a finalist in the Geelong Advertiser Business Excellence awards for the same project.
